Welcome to AnyWare Submit Tool 1.2 !

Download

AST is a compact easy to use tool to submit your shareware, freeware, demoware, adware or anyware to the various software listing sites. It has an inbuilt, embedded webbrowser, using which you can navigate to the sites and fill the submission forms using click and paste.

AST is also a demo of the capabilities of EmPowered Programmer 1.5 [EP for short].As you can see AST is a full featured app. It is written, developed and debugged using EP. You will notice that the tiny file size <60 Kb. Since you downloaded a submit tool you must be a software author yourself. Why dont you check out EmPowered Programmer 1.5 ? Here is what you can do using EP:

1.Create small and compact and at the same time full featured apps. It's ideal for shareware authors as they can create small downloads, yet with all the features they want, and with complete control
2.Learn and teach programming close to the Windows OS and the machine.
3.Get acquainted with the Windows API at a core level
4.Get a glimpse of what your IDE is doing silently behind the scenes without your knowledge
5.Create games using OpenGL or DirectX. The API is at your command.
6.Just have fun becoming an EmPowered Programmer !

The source code of AST is available on the examples page of EP. Check it out.

Using AST is straightforward

The Home button navigates to this page.

The Back / Forward buttons navigate to the respective pages in navigation history.

The Go button navigates to the site in the combo's text field. The list of the combo contains the site urls visited.

The Program Info button open a dialog box where you put in the basic data of your company, your program, it's descriptions etc. If you already have a PAD file you can import it's contents into the dialog box text fields. The program info is saved in a file with the same name as the program (with a .ast extension) in the current directory

The Site Info button presents a dialog box where a list of sites (around 214) is presented. There are fields to enter site specific data like username and password and site+program specific data like submit date, list date, listing url and program specific notes relative to the selected site. Remember to use the Save button after making all entries for a selected site. If you select another site without saving, the previously selected site info will remain unsaved.

The Sites/Items button toggles the list on the right to a list of items which you see now, and a list of sites.

The combobox next to this button holds a list of programs to submit. This list consists of the .ast files in the current directory and is loaded on startup.

So to summarize the process of submission:

Fill in your company, program info and save it.
If previously saved load this info into memory by selecting it from the combo list.
Toggle the sites list and navigate to your required site.
Toggle the list to the submit items view when you have reached the submit page.
Clicking any item will copy it's data to the clipboard. Paste into the appropriate field in the submission form.
After completion of the form click the Sites Info button. The selected site will be found selected in this list too. Enter any info you want to (submit date etc) and save and close the dialog.

If you have another program to submit to this same site load it by selecting it from the combo list. Repeat the click and paste process. The data copied to the clipboard will correspond to the new program.

If you have finished with a site toggle the sites list into view and select and navigate to the next site you want.Use the same steps as above.

That's it ! The source of AST is available as mentioned above. You can study this source and use EP to add any more features as you want. EP has it's learning curve but it's definitely not steeper than any of the modern programming languages and the rewards are tangible --small, compact programs, a fuller understanding of your program and a closer knowledge of the machine and the OS.

Best Wishes !
